"INFORMATION SESSION WITH RON CASEY, MLA FOR BANFF-COCHRANE"
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12, 2013
Join us on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 for our Lunch and Learn session featuring Ron Casey, MLA for Banff-Cochrane. Mr. Casey will be talking to members about what is happening in the Cochrane area from the MLA’s perspective followed by a question and answer period. Chamber Members are encouraged to bring their concerns as business owners, major industries, and/or related questions.
Ron Casey was elected to his first term as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the constituency of Banff-Cochrane on April 23, 2012. In addition to his duties as an MLA, Mr. Casey also serves on the following committees:
- Standing Committee on the Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund
- Standing Committee on Privileges and Elections, Standing Orders and Printing Committee
- Standing Committee on Resource Stewardship
- Special Standing Committee on Members´ Services
More recently, Mr. Casey was appointed to the MLA implementation team working on the review and implementation of the Retail Market Review recommendations that will strengthen Alberta’s retail electricity market.
